Wrote this version of Midori Masks ages ago but for some reason, it was unpublished. My brain, you guys.
PREMISE: After a long day, there’s nothing more I enjoy than a cold, calming sheet mask. I had a large pimple on my cupids bow. Large, flaming and red.
CLAIMS: Well, the mask claims it “imparts an instant dewy glow to the skin, plumping fine lines, brightening dark spots and revitalizing the skin over time for a smoother visage”.
INGREDIENTS: Water, Propolis Extract, Dipropylene Glycol, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Polysorbate 20, Butylene Glycol, Betaine, Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, Paeonia Suffruticosa Root Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, 1,2 Hexanediol, Acrylates/ C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract, Glyceryl Caprylate, Cellulose Gum, Potassium Hydroxide, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Allantonin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance
MATERIAL: Your average cotton sheet mask, if I recall correctly.
FIT: No complaints.
IMMEDIATE EFFECT: It smelt nice. The essence was thin and slippery. The mask was thin, too, surprisingly. I left it on for 15 minutes and after I took it off, my skin felt radiant and had cooled down a lot.
NEXT MORNING: There’s, understandably, not much difference the next morning. I mean, a sheet mask can only do so much. It provided enough hydration, made my skin look nourished and radiant. I don’t expect any stellar results unless, of course, I use it daily.
OVERALL: A nice brightening sheet mask, for sure.
REPURCHASE?: Most likely.
