I bought more of the Laneige Lip Glowy Balms because they’re now available locally.

Let me just rehash what I had already said. I think these are the more user-friendly and tactical versions of Laneige’s all-time bestseller and classic Lip Sleeping Mask.
These Lip Balms come packaged in adorable colour-coded tubes with a slanted tip applicator. These kinds of applicators are always a win-win because they keep the product contained inside more hygienic.
The consistency of these is buttery smooth so they tend to go on with ease. They’re very easy to spread and apply evenly. Unlike the original Lip Sleeping Mask, they’re a lot thinner in consistency. Thus making them ideal for use whenever and wherever you please. As opposed to the before-bed restrictions of the original.
They also last longer than your average Lip Balms, both on your lips and as a product. They’re moisture-retaining and very hydrating. Great to pop on before you head out somewhere or whenever your lips feel the slightest bit dry. The moisture does last, even after the product has worn off your lips (especially after meals). Re-application is also a piece of cake, thanks to the handy-dandy applicator.
These are not as nourishing as the original version, but they don’t have to be since Laneige doesn’t market them that way. Think of these as the upgraded form of Lip Care, ten times better than any Lip Balm you can find on the market right now.
These are also heavily scented. The fragrance is not overwhelming because it tends to dissipate after moments.
These two are the ones with the slightest tinge of colour. Do note that the tint in those are very faint and barely noticeable.
- ‘Berry’ – has a bit of a pink tint, definitely the most noticeable tint.
- ‘Grapefruit’ – has a bit of an orange-ish tint, not particularly noticeable.
∴ It’s definitely worth the price and hype; it’s nourishing and easy to apply/re-apply.
