I’ve had this product since it launched but am late reviewing it, as usual. I watched it go viral and also watched the hype die down. I’ll keep it short.

I think the packaging is cute. I like the metallic components and how they somewhat correspond to the colour of the eyeliner inside. They’re retractable, so that’s always a plus.
Now, as for the formula — it’s okay. It’s smooth enough but it’s not nearly as creamy as I’d like it to be. It tugs on the skin and you might find it troublesome to draw it on if you don’t pull your skin taut. It requires quite a fair bit of skill on your end to get a decent look.
The shades are all pigmented and fully opaque in one swipe. The formulation is also quite dry so it’s naturally long-wearing. It’s waterproof and smudge-proof, to boot.
Another tip would be to roll up the product just enough so that they don’t break. They tend to break very easily.
I watched this YouTuber and there’s two things they’ve said that I personally do not agree with:
- “They make good one-and-done eyeshadows” – In some capacity, it’s true. They do make pretty one-and-done eyeshadow but the formula isn’t forgiving like most one-and-done eyeshadows tend to be. You need to work FAST to blend it out and make it look good. Even then, because the formula is SO dry, it feels tight on the lids. I think they’re better off as eyeliners or as accent points to an eye look. Not as an eyeshadow.
- “They’re duochrome” – No. They’re multi-chrome. Small difference and it’s me being nitpicky but that’s what these are.
Like I said, the name of the eyeliner, despite being “Holographic” is multi-chrome at best. They’re still gorgeous and will definitely turn heads whenever you have them on. But they’re not holographic.
‘06 Coloured Earth’ – A green base with golden, lime, blue pearl shift.
‘01 Milky Way’ – A smoky purple base with strong blue, green and pink shift.
‘04 Nebula’ – A white base with golden, rose, lime, pale blue, lilac shift.
∴ I think they’re an interesting product and definitely worth trying out.
