I have no clue what the product is actually called. Is it Cherry Blossom Flores (flores is Spanish for flowers) or is it Bunny Pink Tint? Let’s just talk about it. (Edit: I figure out the name mid-review!)
THE BACKSTORY: I bought this little fellow back when Cherry Blossoms were blooming around the world and seeing photos of them (especially seeing all the Japanese girls post about them gleefully) made me a little envious. I bought this “lip moisturiser” just to have a Sakura party of my own. The brand is based in Goa and their philosophy is to provide their consumers with “100% pure, 100% natural” products. They are Cruelty-Free and they don’t test on animals either.
THE PRODUCT: Let me first address the elephant in the room – this isn’t a lip balm. It’s far from being a lip balm. Honestly, I was expecting it to be a lip balm in the beginning too. It doesn’t have the traditional waxy texture of your average lip balm. It’s a Lip Moisturiser. Not a lip balm, I repeat, a lip moisturiser.
Now, let’s get on with talking about the actual product.
The consistency of the Lip Moisturiser is liquidy. It comes packaged in a mint blue (not a mint green, guys) squeeze-tube, which I’m assuming is the best way to dispense such a liquidy product. You press the tube to push the product out to the angled-tip applicator, which you can use to easily slather the product over your lips.
Now, the Lip Moisturiser feels a lot like a really liquidy version of petroleum jelly (doesn’t actually contain any).It feels very oily (contains a lot of oils, check out the ingredients list below) in which the product has a lot of slip to it. Even so, it seems to grab onto the lips. That being said, the product never gets fully absorbed by the lips and instead sits on top of them. If you’ve ever tried lip oils, the consistency and texture is very comparable to them.
It isn’t the most weightless lip nourisher on the market but it does its job really well. It leaves the lips beautifully hydrated and feeling plump. It even contains some artificial sweetener (Stevia) in case you accidentally consume it while smacking your lips together. Another thing I really like about it is that it contains SPF 15.
This variant of the Lip Moisturiser has a very pale pink tint, which I personally love. People with pigmented lips may have issues with its milky-pink hue.
An issue I have with it is how heavily scented it is. The scent, though nice and floral, is so heavy that if I accidentally put too much of it on my lips, I get splitting headaches. I do like how effective it is but I rarely get around to using it because of this little glitch. Even if I do use it, I have to use the tiniest amount – just enough to nourish my lips.
I’m sure a lot of people will gravitate towards all the Lip Moisturisers merely by how cutely packaged they are. The amount of thought they put into the packaging is remarkable. The packaging style reminds me of Benefit and theBalm.

♥ Overall, I think it’s a product worth trying out. I would especially recommend it if you’re not bothered by heavily scented products and don’t have a sensitive nose. The packaging’s cute, the price point is decent and the product delivers.
