Hi, everybody, wow. That name is a mouth full. But now that you’ve scrolled down and seen the photo, I think you’d want to read on. That long name is the only thing I’m complaining about, honestly.
THE BACKSTORY: This is another one of those products that I grabbed during the Black Friday sales. While this isn’t a colour that I would normally go for, I decided to go out of my comfort zone and just have a product from The Saem in my collection. And whoo, I was NOT disappointed.
THE PRODUCT: It does have a jelly-like texture when you touch it with your fingers in the jar itself. But, sadly, the jelly texture doesn’t translate onto the lids. What I noticed with this shadow is that it is a very rich bronze jelly-like eyeshadow with an intense sprinkle of golden glittery and shimmery goodness. I’ve even included an out-of-focus shot to show you the ridiculous amount of glitter particles. The great thing about it is that since it has a sticky and jelly-textured base, the glitter particles stick to it so well that it rarely has any fallout.
These hold up beautifully on their own and are even prettier when layered. And yes, they do last well. However, I wouldn’t really ask you to wear them on a humid day. It may not go well when there’s humidity involved.
Right from the stopper on top of the actual shadow to the size, I immediately drew a similarity to L’Oreal’s Infallible eyeshadows. While the textures are slightly different, the finish of both products are quite similar. The Saem’s versions are packaged in a plastic jar with a stopper, just like the L’Oreal ones.
SHADES AVAILABLE: There are six shades available in the range, with limited edition hues popping up every now and then.
