I’ve made a quick comeback, haven’t I?
THE BACKSTORY: I decided to try Tower 28 because its branding spoke to me. I have whittled down my taste in beauty brands to bare bones so for me to eye a fairly new name in the business means they’re doing something right.
THE PRODUCT: Lately, I’ve been into the fuss-free, clear plastic packaging that brands seem to be exploring more and more. Earlier, I would have called that kind of packaging “cheap” because I gravitated more towards extravagantly packaged items. Nowadays, I simply do not care as much. If it works, it works.
I must also mention that this blush comes packaged in sturdier and heftier plastic than most others. For the price-point, it’s only fair.
The blush pan is quite big and can easily fit a stippling brush (or your fingers). You only need a little bit, of this colour in particular, as it goes a long way.
The texture of this blush, upon initial contact, is quite stiff. But it does get creamy when it comes in contact with your brush/fingers. It doesn’t get melty, like some other cream blushes. It simply becomes a little more malleable for one to work with.
It dries down to a satin-matte finish and can be a little rough to work with if it settles onto the skin. I’d suggest working with one cheek at a time and not leaving it on for too long before blending it out.
All the blushes in this line seem to be quite pigmented and opaque, which is exactly why I mentioned earlier that a little dot goes a long, long way.
It is quite long-wearing too and can last for a good 3-4+ hours, withstanding sweating, crying and everything in between. It lasts even longer with some good ol’ translucent powder on top. Also helps that it’s very lightweight and feels like second-skin.
It is marketed as a multi-purpose product but I find it uncomfortable on the lips and too streaky on the eyelids. For me, it works best as a cheek product.

♥ OVERALL: I do like it enough to try other shades in the line. If you’re looking for a mid-range cream blush that does its job, go for it.
