Anything Canmake in my stash just reminds me of simpler, happier times.
I remember being obsessed with these when I was a teen. There was this peach colour, in particular, I recall loving.
This shade, ‘T04 Chocolate Lily‘ was a limited edition product, I think. But it got viral on social media and has stuck around ever since.
I really like how simple yet cute Canmake’s packaging has been throughout the years. It is an affordable brand across Japan (and most of South-East Asia) but they still make sure each product has their signature cutesy appeal.
This lip balm comes housed in a white marker-like container with a floral label. It is a retractable product, so that’s always a win.
I really enjoy the formula. It’s balmy and glides on the lips. The balm itself is not the type that melts; it has a stiffer texture but it still is comfortable on the lips. Despite being a balm, I find that these overall are quite build-able. The colour pay-off is lovely and it’s not too strong that you’d find it jarring in case you’re a makeup novice.
The longevity is the same as any other balm – bad. Reapplication is a breeze, though.
There are multiple shades in this range and it’s difficult to pin-point the exact number because there have been multiple Limited Edition shades added to the line-up.
Just for reference, if you see “T” in front of the shade number, it means it’s their tint-type variant, which they say is long-lasting.
∴ I do think these are good and warrant your attention anytime you’re fortunate enough to be near a Canmake counter or are browsing a site that sells these.
