Let’s talk about this sheet mask from Make P:rem today. Also, let’s pay homage to ‘Ten Count’ (pictured above), a manga I’ve been reading and following for the longest time. It recently ended and I’m overcome with bittersweet emotions.
PREMISE: My skin’s been feeling very, very dry lately. I didn’t (and still don’t) have the money to buy any proper skincare products, so, I thought a good sheet mask would suffice.
CLAIMS: It says that it has “10 types of essential oils” to “rejuvenates your dry skin to have a youthful glow.” It also claims to have an entire bottle’s worth of facial oil in this mask.

MATERIAL: It says the fabric is a combination of natural cellulose and vegetable fiber.
FIT: Quite nice. It fit my entire face just fine. No complaints there.
IMMEDIATE EFFECT: I found the mask was folded into a rather small square when I tore open the pack. I immediately got a whiff of the scent, which, although strong, wasn’t overwhelming. The scent reminded me of a spa. Funny thing is, I’ve never even been to a spa. I’m too broke for all that. But I reckon that’s what a spa smells like. The scent was floral and soothing.
Anyway, I liked that my face was being enveloped by so many nice essential oils. It was just what I needed. It had grape seed oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, rosehip oil, evening primrose oil, among other beautiful ingredients.
After 20 minutes, I took off the sheet mask and dutifully patted the excess essence on my skin. I found that even after doing so, my skin was feeling tacky. I didn’t feel like my face was an oil-slick, although, I must admit, I looked the part, thanks to the glow from the essence. My skin didn’t feel greasy… It’s just that there was a lot of essence left over on my skin even after I tapped it in. That brings me to……
THE NEXT MORNING: …… All the essence I was talking about? Yeah, gone. My skin drank it all up as I slept. The next morning, my skin was brighter, fresher, looked plumper, was softer and didn’t feel dry at all.
OVERALL: If you feel like your skin’s in need for some extra tender loving care, this mask is the bee’s knees.
