Sometimes I regret not posting about certain wonderful products in a timely manner.
THE BACKSTORY: I somehow feel like I should have done this review ages ago. Back when this product was actually relevant. I believe the brand has revamped this line or perhaps given it a new moniker. Either way, I just hope this will be helpful. Even if it’s not particularly trendy anymore.
THE PRODUCT: I don’t know why I didn’t review these when I first bought them. It is such a shame because the formulation on these is wonderful.
I love the clear plastic packaging, through which you can see the colour of the blush that the pan contains. Clear components are very helpful when you have more than one colour in the same formula. Even if you don’t, they’re always helpful whenever you’re in a rush so you don’t have to sift through all your blushes.
These blushes have a whipped, mousse-y consistency. It’s not something you see very often in a blush. Despite the whipped consistency, these are pigmented and require a bit of caution with the amount you choose to apply. The opacity on these can be tampered with, depending on how light your application is or how hard you go into the product.
Because of the fluffy, whipped consistency on these, they are quite blend-able. It’s easy to go ham on these simply because the consistency is so pudding-like and fun. Trust me, I’ve been there.
They have a satin finish on the cheeks. It leaves the cheeks looking fresh and healthy, but not glowy and dewy like one would probably expect out of a cream blush.
The longevity on these is also fairly decent. Of course, in summer, nothing really lasts on the face and just melts off. That being said, when you set it with translucent powder or perhaps a blush of a similar hue these can be a little more long-wearing.
These are nice blushes to have. As far as I know, the colours they were available in were really pretty. Cream formulations like these also tend to be easier for beginners to work with. So this was the perfect blush to go for.

- #1 Rosy Flush/Rose Flower – a translucent strawberry red that would suit a large number of skin-tones.
- #2 Affable Peach/Peach Flower – a white-based peach that worked wonderfully on warmer skin-tones.

♥ OVERALL: Peripera probably doesn’t make these anymore. Even if they do, they’ve most likely been reformulated. Since I haven’t tried any of the newer formulations, I cannot give you my word on those. If you manage to find these somehow, somewhere, I would probably ask you to maybe give them a go. They’re just that lovely.
